An Innovative Web-based Civic Education Project
iCivics is an innovative web-based civic education project targeting teachers and students with games and lessons designed to reinforce Florida’s civics and government standards. iCivics is the vision of Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, and is coordinated in Florida by The Florida Law Related Education Association, Inc. We can provide training, webinars, and a wide range of services to help you utilize the site effectively with your students.
The links below will take you to the curriculum units and lessons which are all correlated with the Florida state standards in civics and government. Teachers will need to create an account to access any of the teacher materials listed below. Student accounts can also be created to store work and scores on games. Teachers and students can register here.

The Scope and Sequence document will help you identify resources based on the content areas. This is a critical component of the site for Florida teachers.
Finally please sign up for professional development through The Florida Law Related Education Association, Inc. We can come to your district if you have 25 or more teachers.
