FLREA kicked off last week with the 2018 Project Citizen State Finals. What an awesome opportunity to see the amazing things students are doing through public policy. Through the Project Citizen program, students identify community problems, research alternative policies to resolve the problem, develop public policy, and work to implement a plan of action. We were excited to welcome judges from local organizations including the League of Women Voters of Broward County, BrowardCounty Schools, NAACP Miami Dade Chapter, ACLU, and St. Thomas University School of Law. Thank you to St. Thomas University School of Law for hosting us for this event!
